This is my first Flash movie. My multimedia professor had us incorporate layers (the two halves of the UFO), shape tweening (the morphing gold oval) and guide layers (the repel-beam and the other shapes.)

So basically the idea is that the UFO is being "chased" by the shapes so it uses a repel-beam to knock them away. The UFO is moving so fast that it that anything around it (the gold circle) becomes warped.

Corny, I know, but I had to come up with some kind of explanation.
